Speaking of…

오래된 나무처럼 거친 아름다움으로 덮혀지고 있는 그녀.  그리고 그가남긴 그녀의 꽃다운 모습 속에 계속되는 그의 흔적.  그들이 함께 남긴 이미지는 나에게 영화 바닐라 스카이 에서 Bob Dylan 의 Freewheelin’ 앨범커버가 톰 크루즈 캐릭터에게 남긴 감명과 흡사하다.*  소설속 이야기 같은 전설에 둘러쌓인 그들을 만날 기회를 여태껏 못 가져봤고, 앞으로도 그 기회는 없을것이란건 참 다행이다.  물론 언젠가 그녀를 사적인 이유로 만날 계기가 생긴다면 난 마다하지 못할것이다.  단, 여느 ‘우상’ 을 만날때와 같이 한 귀는 닫은채로.

*  물론 난 비호감 대상 1위 크루즈아찌 주연 리메이크 대신 원작 Abres los ojos 를 언급하고 싶었지만, 아직 접할 기회가 없었단 이유로 할수없이. ㅠㅠ;

Lookbook shots of Raf Simons for Fred Perry by Willy Vanderperre.  I knew I’d be into these since I first saw the ad campaign with Boris (I think that’s him?).  Even the Morrissey doesn’t bother me.  The Paul Newman/James Dean/Joy Division thing is obvious, and it’s SO Raf Simons, which is why I love them, but strangely, it kind of made me think of my favorite video of Stéphane Sednaoui’s but with white people:

Anyway, I came across these while frantically googling stocklist for Mr. Martens for Raf Simons.  Where can I find them without going to Tokyo?

I am sad to realize that I now recognize each members of Girl’s Generation.
